Any two advantages of sexual reproduction over asexual reproduction are:
1) Sexual reproduction involves gametes from two individuals which lead to more chances of genetic variation which are beneficial for a species in long run.
2) Sexual reproduction increases genetic variation and thus reduces the chances of disease to affect a population of a species.
