Badgers live in burrowed colonies called clans. However, they are also called cetes, though this is a lesser-used term only recently suggested for these animals. A clan of badgers often includes a number of adult members and their offspring living together in a network of tunnels. These clans can range from two adult members to over 30 adult badgers.
