What do we call the gravitational force between the earth and an object?

The gravitation force between the earth and object is called weight.
It is also equal to the product of acceleration due to gravity and mass of the object.
Weight=m×g,
where, m= mass of the object,
g= acceleration due to gravity =9.8m/s 2
