Some could be Trojan Horse software, which is where the game would run fine, but the distributors inject their own software that steals all your data on your PC: every website you visit, your passwords, and your files. You would get the game to run without ever seeing any negative effects, and your data will be sold off to the highest bidder. Everyone who says the games run fine and it they are perfectly safe could be victims of Trojan horse software without even knowing it.
