Molar mass is the mass (in grams) of one mole of a substance.
Molar mass of a compound can be calculated by adding the standard atomic masses (in g/mol) of the constituent atoms.
For example: Molar mass of H 2 O = 2× atomic mass of hydrogen + 1× atomic mass of oxygen= 2×1 +1×16= 18 g/mol
