Ordinary air consists of 78% Nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 0.01% carbon dioxide. But Nitrogen is less soluble in water when compared to carbon dioxide and Oxygen. Hence the composition of air dissolved in different than ordinary air. The composition of air dissolved in water is 33% Oxygen when compared to 21% in ordinary air; Nitrogen is 66% when compared to 78% of ordinary air and carbon dioxide is 1% when compared to 0.01% in ordinary air.
